The Rider's Digest Newsletter
On the Shelf: The UK's favourite little bike mag is getting bigger and better.

In April '08 we decided to 'break out' of the southern part of the country and distribute nationally through a network of rider venues, pubs, busy dealers, advanced motorcycle groups and other clubs.

We promoted our free magazine up and down the country at events such as the Thundersprint, the Whitley Bay Motorcycle Festival, Brightona and the Ton-Up Day at Jacks Hill Cafe. And having established ourselves as a firm favourite we circulated 32,000 copies of a 76pp edition in August and September.

Our Editor, Dave Gurman, has been sitting on a constantly growing pile of articles, pictures and great ideas; and we've had such positive feedback from our hundreds of paid subscribers and thousands of regular readers, that we decided that the best response would be to expand.

From April 20th (Issuse 138) a new 132pp edition of The Rider's Digest will be on sale in W H Smith and all major news retailers @ £2.50.

And we'll still be producing 68 pages FREE, so that riders down at the bikers cafe balancing a bacon sandwich in one hand and 'two wheel passion' in the other, will still have to face the dilemma of which one to put down to pick up their tea.

If you want to receive copies of the free mag for the customers of your cafe, pub, dealers, tyre workshop etc. call us on 07930 265032 .

Coming Soon: Our next edition (136) is published on February 2nd with features on the Moto Guzzi Classic V7, the Yamaha T Max, the Honda DN01 and more Hondas that our regular columnist Rod Young slung his leg over at a Honda Day held at Silverstone Circuit. Plus 20yr old 'Pup Fiction' columnist Martin and his mate Jack ride through the mountains of southern Spain.

Just to whet your appetite for 137, we'll have an account of a sidecar excursion to the famous Elefant Rally: Germany in the depths of winter, why do they do it? And our 'dirt correspondents' Dave and Milky will put the new BMW off road rocket, G450, through its paces in one of those mucky proceedings they call enduros.

We Want Information: So that we can plan and be responsive to our readers, we need to know a bit more about them.
We're asking as many of our readers as possible to complete our '09 Reader's Survey. Just go to our website www.theridersdigest.co.uk or click here for the '2009 Readers Survey' box.

As an incentive those lovely people at Michelin, Hein Gericke and Frank Thomas have given us some fantastic goodies for our free prize draw.
